NEW YORK CITY—Z2 Comics is proud to announce a new leadership team to help usher the publisher into the future. Effective immediately, the new leadership team consists of the following:
Sridhar Reddy: Publisher
Kevin Meek: Chief Executive Officer, Former CFO and General Counsel
Josh Bernstein: President, Former Senior Vice President
Aleksey Zelenberg: Chief Technology Officer, Former Data Scientist
Courtney Menard: Creative Director, Former Director of Production
Z2 Comics has evolved into one of the premiere publishers of comics and merchandise in the world, collaborating with the most innovative and iconic musicians and pop culture storytellers. The above promotions follow a series of announcements featuring new partnerships with Gorillaz, “Weird” Al Yankovic, Elvis Presley, Ice-T, and Tori Amos, with many more to be announced. The publisher’s catalog features collaborations with bands ranging from the iconic classic rock of The Doors and Grateful Dead to metal trailblazers Mötley Crüe and Anthrax to timeless entertainers like Cheech and Chong and beyond. Since 2020, Z2 Comics has grown from three employees to approximately 30. Former publisher Josh Frankel has resigned from the company.
“It’s been a joy to witness this company rapidly grow from beautiful single-issue comics to high-end graphic novels, collectible merchandise, and exclusive events with some of the biggest talents in music, comics, and media,” Publisher Sridhar Reddy explains. “We’ve built an amazing core of expertise and talent in the company and I’m very excited to see Z2 achieve the next level of success under this new team. We’ve only scratched the surface of our full potential.”
“Z2 is the place where artists connect with fans in a unique way,” new CEO Kevin Meek continues. “I am incredibly grateful to be chosen to helm our dynamic and diverse team of talented professionals as we enter our next phase of innovation and growth—delivering amazing stories that honor both artists and their fans.”
“I’m incredibly proud to see how quickly we have built this brand to this point,” new President Josh Bernstein says. “But the next few months of A-list announcements, key industry partnerships, and these much-deserved internal promotions are what really excites me about Z2’s incredibly bright future.”
Last weekend, Z2 Comics exhibited at New York Comic Con, hosting signings and panels featuring collaborators Todd McFarlane, DMC, Czarface, Chuck D, Ice-T, and Coco. Z2 also collaborated with Fandom once more to host the latter’s official party, featuring live performances from Ice-T, Czarface, and Kool Keith, with appearances from the casts of Teen Wolf and Law & Order SVU.
